Beach Clean Events

We have a variety of groups going out all year to carry out beach cleans in suitable areas. We work with schools, community groups and corporations to improve the quality of the marine environment for the mutual benefit of local plants, animals and people.

We have many beaches that require cleaning in most areas along the Forth. We clean beaches only by hand and provide all the tools, training and risk assessments required. Mechanical beach cleaning strips the beaches of its natural defences like seaweed and dune systems and can contribute to coastal erosion.

Beach cleaning can be a fun and healthy form of team building, community involvement or simply a way of helping protect sea birds and marine life from coming to harm from our litter.
